About the position

As a preschool teacher at Kastanjens Preschool in Hovsta, you always have the child in focus and work in a learning organization. The preschool consists of two departments, Bladet and Blomman, where we work age-heterogeneously and have close collaboration between the departments. We place great importance on play and strive to give children plenty of time outdoors. With the support of our development leader and in close collaboration with other educators, you create the best conditions for children's safety and learning.

Examples of tasks:

• lead, organize, plan, implement, and develop teaching
• create meaningful contexts where children together speculate, investigate, try their theories, solve problems, and communicate together
• create an inspiring environment with creative materials for play and learning both outdoors and indoors
• be responsible for the content, design, and implementation of development talks
• be responsible for documenting, following up, analyzing, and evaluating the education

About the workplace

Kastanjens Preschool is located in Hovsta, about 10 km north of Örebro.

At Kastanjens Preschool, there are two departments, Bladet and Blomman. The staff works age-heterogeneously with close collaboration between the departments. The preschools in our area are practice preschools, which means we have a close collaboration with Örebro University and receive students who do their practical training at our preschools.

Qualifications

As a person, you are secure in your role and have the ability to see the whole picture. You have a good understanding of how children learn and develop and can adapt teaching based on their different needs and conditions. To achieve the preschool's goals, you are driven and take responsibility for your tasks. Since we are a smaller preschool, it is important that you have a flexible approach and can adapt to situations that arise. You listen and communicate well with colleagues, children, and guardians and contribute to good collaboration. It is important that you can master the Swedish language both in speech and writing, as the position involves documentation in our systems.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements

• licensed preschool teacher, or hold a qualifying degree that entitles you to a license

Meritorious

• experience working in preschool
• education in or experience of Guiding Interaction (ICDP)
• good knowledge of Unikum and Tempus

Preschool teacher license must be attached to the application along with a list of qualifications, or alternatively a diploma that entitles you to a license.
